Being part of a community can have a positive effect on your wellbeing. Our social groups foster a sense of belonging and can connect you with members of your local community.
ECS offers a variety of social group activities for the residents of Engadine and neighbouring suburbs. You may need to be registered through My Aged Care & assessed for eligibility for our CHSP services. ECS staff can help with information about your aged care options.
Door‐to‐door service & help with your parcels. From your home to Southgate on
1st Wednesday each month, Menai
Marketplace on 3rd Wednesday &
alternate venues on 4th Wednesday.
Men's Social Group
If you would like to join a group of men to have a chat, a laugh and a game of cards (usually 500), then this group is for you. Come along on Fridays at 12:30pm to 4pm.

Would you like to join us for a day out & lunch? Talk to our Aged Care Services
Coordinator about what’s coming up on the calendar. (Cost: vary per outing, bookings essential).
Don’t stay home alone. Bring your knitting, sewing or any soft craft and enjoy a chat and a cuppa with like-minded locals.

Good Neighbours Group
This group is for ladies who like to go out for lunch and chat. Sandra our co-ordinator organises a day outing from the transport (trains & buses) to the venue, some are local some further afield. This is a popular group and at the moment it is currently full.
